Meeting Our Neighbors Where They Are 🛒

Access to nutritious food shouldn’t depend on reliable transportation. Our Open Arms Market brings food directly to local housing communities, helping seniors, veterans, and residents with disabilities access the groceries they need.

More than a mobile pantry, it’s a way to build connections, reduce barriers, and show our neighbors they’re supported.

Did you know that 297 low-income senior, disabled, and veteran households live across seven housing developments in North Andover?

Last week, we held our second monthly Open Arms Market at Bingham Way, where our amazing volunteers transformed the community room into a beautiful, festive mini food market! 🛒🥕

The residents have been incredibly welcoming and appreciative of the time and care it takes to bring a mobile food pantry directly to their community. One resident summed it up perfectly after sharing some big hugs: “We are so, SO glad you are here!” 💙

In September, NNR Global Logistics USA’s Boston office hosted a back-to-school food drive, collecting a mountain of convenient breakfast items, after-school snacks, and school supplies.

Thanks to their generosity, we were able to include some of these family favorites in every bag distributed to North Andover families with children! ❤️

A huge thank you to NNR Global Logistics USA for going the extra mile to support local families and help kids start the school year strong.

A big thank you to South Church for spending the morning with us and providing advocacy, education, and support to our pantry guests! ❤️

Their team helped educate guests about how to access SNAP and other community resources that can help bridge the gap of food insecurity and provide additional support for families.

Plus, the eggs were a huge hit with our guests!🥚 Thank you for bringing them and for being such a wonderful community partner.

A big thank you to Wendy & Steve Meyers for helping deliver food to 20 families in the North Andover community!️

We partner with the North Andover Public Schools system to identify families who may be struggling and provide some extra relief through food assistance.

We’re grateful for volunteers like Wendy and Steve who help make sure this support reaches the families who need it most. 💙

When families struggle, their pets struggle, too🐾

We’re proud to partner with .angell MSPCA-Angell’s Nevins Farm to provide pet food to our guests who need a little extra support caring for their furry family members.

Pictured is Laura, who recently delivered an order of pet food to the pantry. A big thank you to Marcy, Wendy, and Cheryl for preparing the pet food for our distribution day!
