Newburyport Pride has been made aware that downtown businesses who displayed any Pride-related flair this month -- whether participating in our Window Display contest or just hanging a rainbow flag -- have been targeted with one-star reviews on Google. Please join us in showing some love to these businesses so that hate and bigotry does not win. Are you happy to see downtown Newburyport awash in Pride this month? Then shop & review these businesses who support our LGBTQ+ community!

Thankful for all the family members and other grown-ups out there who love us unconditionally, who accept us for who we are and believe us that we know ourselves best, who stand with us and protect us no matter what. The work of learning and changing is not always easy, but those with the strength and courage to do it are building the foundation of a better world. Your love and acceptance are literally life saving. 💖

A mother’s love is an unstoppable force. 🔥 On this day, Jeanne Manford and her son Morty took to the streets at the 1972 Christopher Street Liberation Day March with a message of love, unity, and defiance that shocked and rallied the nation: Mothers and fathers in support of g**s.

Love, protection, solidarity—these are the sparks that ignited and fuel our organization. Today and every day, we celebrate our founder’s incredible legacy, and channel her powerful mission to Lead with Love.

North Shore Pride parade & festival is Saturday at 12:00pm in Salem, MA! We’ve been to this one many times and it is always a big joyful celebration. Salem is an amazing city 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

To be honored alongside so many accomplished activists and leaders—especially the elders who have been fighting for our community here in Massachusetts for decades—was truly humbling.

Thank you to North Andover’s State Reps State Representative Adrianne Ramos and MA State Rep. Tram T. Nguyen for the nomination. Thank you both for your unwavering, outspoken support for LGBTQ+ rights, healthcare, and legal protections.

This is the first time the LGBTQ+ Caucus has awarded these honors, after years of planning. I am excited to see more of North Andover’s amazing LGBTQ+ community members recognized in the years to come!

You may have noticed, but the free giveaway station was missing from the event on Wednesday. We brought the prizes but TOTALLY FORGOT to bring the tickets!

We still have all these amazing gifts to give away thanks to the The Village Studio Gifts & More, so we're going to do this digitally. Upside is we get to spread out the fun a little bit :)
