You shouldn’t have to struggle to find help in Madison County and the Norfolk Area.

But many people in our community are navigating confusing systems, long wait times, and being sent from place to place.
If you’ve ever tried to find support—for food, housing, childcare, healthcare, or anything else—we want to hear from you.
Your experience can help improve how people connect to services in the Norfolk area.

NOP leaders, members, and staff have been busy these last couple months. Along the way we deepened relationships, built community connections, and cast our vision toward the collective power of everyday rural Nebraskans joining together to champion the common good in our state.

We invite you to partner with us and support our work today with a one-time donation, or sustain our efforts with a monthly recurring gift. https://www.nebraskaorganizingproject.org/donate

Here's just some of what we all have been up to:
We held numerous one-on-ones, research actions, and team meetings; Brittany Hildebrand joined the team as our South Sioux City organizer; kicked off the South Sioux City deep listening project with a Building Common Ground workshop; met with Siouxland leaders at United Today, Stronger Tomorrow's Tri-State Summit; partnered with Civic Nebraska and Nebraska Appleseed on a fair housing canvass in Norfolk; co-hosted Feeding Northeast Nebraska with the Norfolk Famer's Market and Center for Rural Affairs; and adopted a three-year organizing plan to guide NOP into the future.
