This year’s Steps of Love Memorial Run/Walk theme honors the love that remains after the loss of a baby.

For families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, the love for their child doesn’t end. Their babies remain a part of their hearts, their stories, and their lives in ways both seen and unseen.

Our Memorial Walk is a place where families can remember, honor, grieve, and love — together.

Because no family should have to walk this journey alone.

On September 19, we will come together as a community to honor every precious life, support every family, and celebrate a love that never fades.

🦋 Something special is being added to this year’s Steps of Love Memorial Run/Walk.

For the first time, we will be holding a Butterfly Release as part of our 2026 theme:
Forever Loved. Never Forgotten.

Many families find comfort in meaningful reminders of the child they hold in their hearts — a sunflower, a feather, a cardinal, a butterfly, or another special sign.

This year, we’ll come together to create a beautiful moment of remembrance and reflection as we release butterflies in honor of the children who are Forever Loved. Never Forgotten.

Each family’s experience is unique.
Each reminder is personal.
But the love remains. 🦋
