Part-Time Veterinary Assistant

Looking to begin a career in veterinary medicine? Our Part-Time Veterinary Assistant works directly in our on-site veterinary suite, assisting with medical care, surgical support, and hands-on treatment of the animals who rely on us every day. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow in the veterinary field.

🚨VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!🚨

365 days a year, a group of volunteers walks all the dogs at the shelter from 3:30-4:30pm. Our shelter is full and we need more walkers, especially if you have availability THURSDAYS or SATURDAYS!! The more people we have, the longer the dogs get to stay out of their kennel! Not only is it great exercise and very fulfilling, but you also are the highlight of every dog’s day ❤️ Email [email protected] for a short application!

Meet Henry & Lily! 👋

🥺These sweet 4 year old siblings were surrendered to the rescue through no fault of their own, and now they’re looking for the forever home they deserve—TOGETHER! 💯

💞They’re a sweet, quiet, easygoing pair who enjoy the simple things: cozy blankets, naps, a little playtime, and affection from people they trust. They aren't demanding cats, but once they feel comfortable, they have plenty of love to give!

💛💛Lily💛💛 is sweet, gentle, and just a little independent. She may be shy when meeting new people, but give her some time and her affectionate side comes out. She loves chin scratches and will even enjoy belly rubs from someone she trusts. She's a laid-back girl who loves cozy naps but is always ready for some fun with a feather wand or catnip toy.

🤎🤎Henry🤎🤎 is handsome, affectionate, and just the right amount of nosy! He enjoys attention and pets but is also perfectly happy doing his own thing. When he's not curled up for a nap, he's likely investigating his surroundings or finding a new spot to explore. Catnip toys—especially a good catnip banana—and feather wands are favorites.

💞Both Henry and Lily get along with other cats. Their experience with dogs and children is unknown, so slow, thoughtful introductions would be best.

💞They may need a little patience while they adjust to a new home, but once they feel safe, they'll reward you with their gentle companionship and sweet personalities.

💞These two aren't asking for much—just a safe home, cozy blankets, a little playtime, lots of love, and each other.❤️
