Behind every Habitat home is a community of people who help make it possible🏠💙

This October, volunteers, community partners, and local businesses will come together for our 2026 Framing Frenzy, a signature Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads event. Framing Frenzy corporate volunteers will work alongside Habitat's construction team to help raise the walls of a future Habitat home in support of a local family working hard to achieve homeownership.

We're now seeking corporate sponsors to help make this build possible. Sponsors will have the opportunity to engage employees in a hands-on volunteer experience and return for the home dedication once the build is complete to celebrate a milestone made possible through your support.

We were honored to celebrate the Norfolk Home Builders Institute's latest graduating class last week!🎉 Our Chief Financial Officer, Frank Hruska, joined the celebration as the guest speaker, offering words of encouragement as the graduates prepare to begin careers in the construction industry.

After completing 12 weeks of training in carpentry and electrical work, the graduates reflected on their experience with HBI, and several shared that volunteering on a Habitat for Humanity home build was one of the most meaningful parts of their training. We're especially grateful to hear that experience inspired several graduates to stay involved with Habitat and continue using their skills to support local families.

It is a privilege to work alongside these graduates, all of whom are veterans or members of military families. We're grateful to HBI for creating opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience while giving back to the community.

Congratulations to the entire graduating class! We appreciate our partnership with HBI and look forward to continuing to work together. 🎓🔨
