Project Birthday Bag had some special visitors today, Tim and Sarah Freeman, from Fantasy Beverages, Inc, a new business in Nixa, MO. Between a raffle from their grand opening and their matching donation, they presented us with a $700 check today! That will help buy lots of toys for underprivileged kid’s birthday celebrations in our area.
Their business offers specialty sodas, micro-brewery beers, and other adult beverages in a fantasy world theme such as Dungeons and Dragons, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Star Trek, etc.
They are located at 105 W Sherman Way (facing Main St) in Nixa. They have board games and parents can bring their kids for a soda. Check them out as they are a new and fun addition to our community!
Thanks to them for helping our local nonprofit!

Project Birthday Bag had some awesome bag packers last night! Christa and Sam along with their kids did a great job of working together to pick gifts for the kids we serve. Kids know what gifts kids would want! Thanks for helping.

Project Birthday Bag had a special visit today from Ami Rohr, Julie Loss, and Brooklynn Broker. Brooklynn, shown in the photos, decided to donate her entire Squishmallow collection to Project Birthday Bag because she thought “some other kids would enjoy them.” So heartwarming to see a young person give up something special of their own to give joy to other kids! Thank you, Brooklynn!

Project Birthday Bag had a visit yesterday from two very special people, Sharmin and Danny Wallace. Sharmin makes doll clothes, blankets, diapers and bibs for the baby dolls we give to little girls with their doll for their birthday. She also makes little girl aprons and play mats for little boys. Her husband, Danny chauffeurs her around and helps with whatever she needs.
I think little ones (whose parents are discretely providing the presents we furnish) must feel like they had a “hug from grandma “ with what she lovingly provides to the kids we serve. ❤️

Project Birthday Bag was tremendously blessed yesterday by Grayson’s lemonade stand where he made over $2600 to help children in Christian County that would otherwise not get birthday presents on their special day. This kid has a heart of gold for less fortunate children and Jesus!
He picked out all the toys they purchased cause kids know what kids like. His Mom Tara, dad Chris, grandmother Tammy, and uncle helped with everything such as baking bread, cookies, making lemonade, shopping for all the toys, books, bibles, stuffies and fun stuff, as well as loading and unloading!
The Teeling/Estrada families are so generous and loving! I consider them family ❤️

We absolutely loved having the Nixa High Dance team, their captain, and Moms come to help pack birthday bags for the disadvantaged children we serve in Christian County! It’s amazing they took time out from their end of school activities to help others. You did a great job!

If you get the chance, please go by Grayson’s lemonade stand at 1044 E Greenwood in Springfield. Great kid doing his best to support Project Birthday Bag:
It’s that time again! Time for Grayson’s 3rd annual lemonade stand to benefit Project Birthday Bag!

He will be selling ice cold lemonade by the cup, goodie bags, homemade cookies, and I’ve heard there might even be some loaves of freshly milled bread to buy! 😉

Grayson really enjoys hosting lemonade stands to serve the Project Birthday Bag community the best he can. He puts careful thought into each item he buys the children and is terrifically detail oriented. Project Birthday Bag is a place that speaks to his heart personally. He has shared before that he feels so blessed in his life and he wants to do everything he can to help make other children feel happy and blessed because every child deserves to feel special on their birthday.

Our favorite thing about Project Birthday Bag is that parents fill out information with the desires and needs of their children. Volunteers donate and can go in to pack bags. Each child receives all things they love like their favorite type of cake/icing, themed party supplies, candles, large gifts, many small gifts, books, a blanket, and a stuffy to love on! Then, the parent/guardian comes to pick up the bag, throws a party for their kiddo and their kids never know! This allows the parents to remain their children’s hero- which is exactly how it should be! Grayson feels it’s the biggest blessing to work behind the scenes to make kids feel like a rockstar for their birthday. Project Birthday Bag is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which means it is a volunteer driven, donation based organization! This is a link straight to the page if you or anyone you know is in need of help, or if you just want to learn more about this amazing place! https://projectbirthdaybag.org/about-us/

💙We want to welcome you to swing by Grayson’s lemonade stand from 11-2 at our house (message me if you need the address!)

💙If you can’t make it but want to donate, my Venmo is at the bottom of the flyer! Make sure you choose between friends so there aren’t fees!

💙If you aren’t able to donate right now, that’s ok! We understand! You can help spread the word by sharing this post which is just as valuable! 🩷

We are looking forward to another successful lemonade stand to benefit lots of precious children in the community!

Thank you for your love and support of our boy and his beautiful heart. By supporting and donating, you allow him to continue doing what he feels he is called to do! Let’s make a difference together!

Wish I May was established in Greene County by Lisa Slavens in 2011. In 2014, Wish I May opened in Christian County and changed to Project Birthday Bag in 2018.

Project Birthday Bag had the honor of speaking to the Ozark Rotary Club today about our organization. They donated some really great gifts for the kids we serve, as well as cash and a gift card. Thanks, Shane Nelson for inviting me to speak and thanks to Ozark Rotary Club for what your members do to serve others in your community!

Project Birthday Bag just had a wonderful donation yesterday from Tara (Chris) Estrada, son Grayson, and his sweet grandmother. They are so generous to less fortunate children and Grayson personally picks out many of the gifts. What a delightful family!❤️
