Pack 200 Scouts are getting fired up about Spring camping and activities! At our March meeting, we had Adult Leaders and volunteers from Troop 200, along with special guest Missouri Dept. of Conservation agent Justin Holmes, sharpening our Cubs' skills in Knots, Tents, Six Essentials, First Aid, and Conservation. Every Scout who participated got to take home a Scouting or outdoors themed item to use on their next adventure! Bears kicked off the meeting with an outdoor Flag Ceremony, and we wrapped up around the fire pit for Advancements and S'Mores.

We learn, we apply, we grow, and we work together to be ! Pack 200 welcomes boys and girls grades K-5 who are ready for adventure - send us a message and lets talk about starting your child's journey! ⛺️🧭🔥

The competition was fierce at the 2026 Pack 200 Pinewood Derby! Congratulations to Grand Champion Isaac (Webelos), 2nd Place Cole (Arrow of Light), and 3rd Place Ethan (Bear). Three different builds, three different ranks, and a race to the finish! 🏆🏎️

Thanks to Nixa Fire Protection District for the great Community Room space to accommodate us at the last minute after some rescheduling issues! 🚒🙌

We are also proud to report our silent auction raised over $1,000 for Care to Learn - Nixa! Big shout out to our Dens for their work putting baskets together, and to our local donors who supported this annual event and made it a success once again! 👏💸

Cheer on our Scouts at our annual Pinewood Derby, Saturday, February 21st, 8am-Noon at the Nixa Fire Training Center on Main St. (event rescheduled from January snow-out)!

AUCTION INSTRUCTIONS:
Auction items are in the photos posted below. Comment ON THE PHOTO of the item for which you are bidding! PLEASE ENSURE ALL COMMENTS ARE SHOWING so you are sure of the current high bid. PLEASE NOTE SOME ITEMS HAVE A CURRENT HIGH BID, AS THIS AUCTION HAS CARRIED OVER FROM OUR EVENT WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY TO BE HELD IN JANUARY. Check the comments first before bidding! This auction will run through 10:30am the day of the event, and any comments stamped after that time will not be counted! All items will be on display during the event until Noon and you are welcome to claim your item up until 1pm at the Nixa Fire Training Center if you are the winner. Payment options will include cash, check payable to Pack 200, and online payment via Square. Post-event pickup instructions will be sent to you via Facebook messenger from this page or one of our Pack leaders, unless you provide another way to contact you! American Legion Nixa Memorial Post 434 Commander Nicolas Gerdes helped our Bear Den learn and practice their flag etiquette at this month's Den Meetings! A veteran and former Scout leader himself, Mr. Gerdes had a lot of insight to offer our cubs!

Pack 200 Scouts, siblings and parents enjoyed a special visit to Two Silos Farm in Rogersville this weekend for an incredible Egyptian Arabian Horse encounter followed by a hike, bonfire, games, and s'mores!

Big thanks to Gail and Joe Mailloux and their farm staff for graciously hosting our Pack. And of course, special thanks to "Blackie" and "Vivie" for being so gentle and lovely to our Scouts!
