🌕 Look to the Skies Tomorrow! 🌕

Weather permitting, tomorrow night will bring a beautiful lunar eclipse! 🌙✨ If you have a chance, step outside and take a look. You won’t want to miss it!

📍 A friendly reminder: Tyler State Park is closed during the eclipse, so please enjoy the show from a safe and permitted location.

Don't miss the Sturgeon Moon and partial lunar eclipse! 🐟🌒

The full moon will reach its peak on Friday (August 28) at 12:18 A.M. However, a partial lunar eclipse is also expected to occur beginning at 9:23 P.M. on Thursday (August 27)! During this time, dark shadows and/or red glow may be visible on the moon's surface.

While peak illumination may be obscured by the partial eclipse, the moon should appear full and bright in the night(s) before and after, conditions permitting!

Looking for firewood? Tyler State Park has you covered! We offer $20 firewood permits for one cord of wood. A cord is a stack of wood 4ft.x4ft.x8ft. All wood must be collected within two months of the date of issue. Call the park office at (215) 968-2021 with any questions! PPE is REQUIRED for collecting wood.

History is taking shape at Tyler State Park — the first wayside markers are officially in! These signs highlight the land’s deep roots in agriculture, milling, and the Tyler Estate long before the park became a state park in 1974.
Created in partnership with the Tyler Family, DCNR, Friends of Tyler State Park and historian Brian Rounsavill and Board Member at the NHA. It's great to see this coming together!

Come walk through Tyler with the Southampton Free Library!

Join us this coming Saturday, Aug. 22nd at 9 AM! It looks like the weather will hold off! This is a 4 mile walk along the old driveway leading to Tyler Mansion, 2 miles out and 2 miles back.
