Did you miss last month’s blog?

We’ve spent two decades building the gear, but right now, there aren’t enough hands to hold the ropes.

For many autistic individuals and their families, graduating from school can mean losing access to critical support systems — a reality often called the “graduation cliff.” At Potential, we see firsthand how important continued services, life skills, and community support are for adults with autism to thrive.

Read this month’s blog to learn why this gap exists, what families are facing across Pennsylvania, and how we can create more meaningful pathways forward together.

✨ Gratitude & Growth at the Summit & Expo ✨

We’re incredibly thankful to First Bank Charitable Foundation for hosting the Better Giving for Greater Impact Summit & Expo yesterday at the beautiful Chester County History Center.

It was an inspiring day filled with passionate speakers, meaningful conversations, and fellow changemakers committed to strengthening our communities together. We were honored to share more about Potential’s mission, connect with attendees, and build new relationships that will help expand opportunities for individuals with autism and their families.

A special thank you to Karen Walter and her team for creating such a thoughtful and energizing experience. We highly encourage others to attend next year!

🐐 Potential Pathfinders’ Down at the Farm! 🐴🌽

Potential hosted a wonderful day at Village Farm this past Saturday—made possible through the generous support of Foundations Community Partnership! 💛

Families enjoyed hours of farm fun, including feeding goats 🐐, meeting Snowy the pony 🐴, bouncing on the jumping pillow, face painting, playground and sandbox adventures, and visiting all the sweet farm animals. Guests also received farm-themed goodie bags, crafts, and snacks to enjoy on-site or take home!

A huge THANK YOU to Foundations Community Partnership, the incredible Village Farm team, and all the families who joined us to make the day so special. 😊 We loved seeing so many smiling faces and meaningful moments shared together.

We can’t wait to do it all again at our Family Playfest Picnic in the Park on June 13! Be sure to register if you haven’t already.

Thank you to our amazing teachers for the impact you make—not just in the classroom, but in the lives of every individual you support. We appreciate you more than words can say! 🌟

We’re proud to introduce PREP — a new initiative designed to support developing clinicians through guided learning experiences in behavior analysis.

PREP participants receive mentorship, support, and supervised clinical rotations that help build competence, confidence, and a well-rounded skill set across multiple areas of practice.

The program includes experience in:
• IBHS-ABA
• IBHS-GROUP
• Springtime School
• Adult Services
• New Team Member Training

This diverse rotation helps future BCBAs explore areas of practice they may not have otherwise considered while preparing them to become strong, adaptable clinicians.

Developing clinicians. Advancing practice. PREP is only the beginning.
