"A great thing about growing older in Newton" We are the senior center for the community of Newton KS.

We serve those age 55 and older through programs and services.

This trip is filling up fast so if you are interested in going to Florida in Feb instead of braving the cold Kansas wind come in and sign up. A deposit of $75.00 per person will reserve your spot.

The Newton Senior Center is seeking someone to manage its in-house food program as soon as possible. The position is Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Primary responsibilities include serving lunch to participants, cleaning up afterward, and completing light paperwork, such as gathering weekly meal counts and tracking the number of meals served. If interested, please call 316-283-2222 Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and ask for Lynne.

For those with 3rd Thurs tickets come and pick up a flower for your bouquet and join us for a concert by our Golden Notes Choir. If you are not a ticket holder for 3rd thurs please come and join us. The choir's performance begins at 6:00. This will be a fundraiser for our flooring project.

We will also be participating in the Flower Walk sponsored by Downtown Newton's 3rd Thurs.
