It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend, David Klein. He was a kind and supportive presence for DHH students and staff, and he always took time to communicate in ASL and make everyone feel welcome. Please keep the Klein family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

It is with deep sadness that we share that Mark Thornburg has passed away recently. Mark grew up in Wichita, attending Allen Elementary and Curtis Junior High before enrolling at KSD in 1981 and graduating with the Class of 1984. He will be fondly remembered by his classmates and all who knew him in the Deaf community. Please keep Mark’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
