Join us this Saturday to help improve St Stephens Park!
Volunteers will help refresh and enhance the park’s garden through weeding and planting, along with trimming and pruning in the dog park area. Come out and enjoy being outside, gardening, and completing a hands-on project that will make a visible difference in the park.

Let’s give St. Stephens Park some love! 🌿

Join us Saturday, October 17, from 9–11:30 a.m. for a morning of hands-on stewardship at the park. We’ll be working on environmental revitalization and scenic landscape enhancement projects to help care for this community space.

No special skills are needed—we’ll provide the tools, supplies and guidance. Wear long sleeves, long pants and closed-toe shoes, and come ready to get a little dirty!

🌿 Save the dates!

We’re thrilled to partner with Visit Hickory NC and Keep Catawba County Beautiful for the Park Stewardship series again this fall! Together, we’ll offer volunteer opportunities at all four Catawba County Parks, giving you a chance to get outside, lend a hand, and help care for the parks and natural spaces we all enjoy.

📅 February 20 – Riverbend Park

KCCB has open positions available on our Board. We are looking for passionate people who are interested in protecting the environment, litter issues, and community improvement projects who can volunteer to serve on our Board and attend events.
