This Saturday we will have 6 puppies in the store for adoption!
Getting all the details now, we have a friend that took in a mom and babies out of the goodness of her heart, and needs help with the best homes.
Mom is around 20 or so pounds, and we are getting things in the works with pictures now. Keep an eye out here! We are having an emergency rescue coming this Saturday.
Pups were born on July 4th, so all will have patriotic names and faces to see soon. They are 6.5 weeks old.
They are going to the vet this week for 1st parvo and have been dewormed. Since they are not fully vaccinated from parvo they will not be allowed outside of the rescue barn, and hands must be washed before giving lovings.
Puppies should be there by 10:00 after we go and get them, store will be open at 9:00am.
We will have 4 boys and 2 girls.
This is all the update we have since this is reunion week it’s been busy, so we are posting all we have had time to gather.
Remember we are a rescue. It is highly unlikely that any puppies will be able to go home with anyone on Saturday.
We do require a home visit to ensure the pups receive a great and loving home. All pups must be kept up on their first shots for the first year on time.
We do not play around with Parvo. It will be required that we get a text message showing the shots are given at the times due to ensure their wellbeing.
Pups are not allowed to live fully outside, or on a chain in a yard. They are family.
They are to also be fixed no earlier than 6 months which we highly suggest 8 months-1 year for spay or neuter.
We do not adopt to any family that smokes inside of the home and prefer no wall plug in fragrances; as they are highly toxic to the dog and yourself.
We hope we have your new family member at the Blue Bird Saturday!
The Blue Bird understands this is a lot to go over, but we truly fight hard to be the stand in for something that doesn’t have a voice. It’s our mission to do things right.
The adoption fee will be the vet cost for the exam and first shot and a small donation of 25.00 to our rescue so that we can pay it forward to the next dogs in need.
Typically we will always strive to keep the cost for adoptions around 75.00 or less. This will cover vet cost and a small donation to keep our rescue going for the pay it forward movement.
See you for some puppy breath at the Blue Bird this Saturday! 🐦❤️
Enjoy! This is them, it’s all we have till tomorrow. 🐶
