🐾 May’s Pet of the Month! 🐾

Meet Birdie, a sweet golden retriever whose story is a beautiful reminder of the power of love and patience. When Birdie first joined her family, she was shy, and quiet.

With lots of love, patience, and plenty of snacks, Birdie has blossomed into the most loving companion her family could ask for, and now she definitely lets her voice be heard! Whether she’s swimming in the pool or happily retrieving her favorite ball, Birdie brings endless joy to the family who is so grateful to call her their own.

Birdie reminds us how deeply pets enrich our lives with comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.

Carolina Caring is proud to be one of only nine nonprofit hospice providers in North Carolina partnering with Pet Peace of Mind, a program that helps keep patients and their beloved pets together at the end of life.

Your support of Pet Peace of Mind helps cover veterinary care, food, grooming, boarding, and basic in-home pet care for patients who can no longer physically or financially care for their pets.

A heartfelt thank you to St. Stephens Lutheran Christian School for their incredible support of our Cardinal Kids program throughout the entire school year. Through their generosity, compassion, and dedication, they raised more than $17,000 to help provide comfort and care to the children and families we serve. We are deeply grateful for their partnership and the meaningful difference they continue to make in our community.

Grateful for the kind of connections that make a real impact.

Loved getting to connect with our friends from St. Stephens Lutheran Christian School at First Friday Morning Brew as they continue supporting our Cardinal Kids program this school year. It’s always encouraging to see local businesses, schools, and community leaders come together to support each other in such meaningful ways.

A week later, and we’re still grateful for the connections “brewed”☕️ (see what we did there? 😉) at !

During Small Business Week, we can’t help but think that THIS is what community looks like — leaders from our local businesses showing up, building relationships, supporting one another, and adding value to our business community.
