🐾🎉 Meet this year's Paws for a Cause Cutest Pet Contest Winners! 🎉🐾

We are thrilled to celebrate this year’s Paws for a Cause Cutest Pet Contest winners! These 12 adorable pets captured hearts and helped us shine a light on the importance of Pet Peace of Mind. Each pet is listed in order:

As our Cutest Pet Contest winner, Gibbs will receive a special prize pack from the Carolina Caring Foundation! 🏆🐾

And the fun doesn’t stop here! Starting in January 2027, each of these 12 pets will be featured as our Pet of the Month, helping us share their stories while raising awareness for Carolina Caring’s Pet Peace of Mind program.

Pet Peace of Mind helps keep patients and their beloved pets together by providing support for veterinary care, food, grooming, boarding, and basic in-home pet care when patients can no longer physically or financially care for their pets.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who entered, voted, shared, and helped make this year’s contest such a success! We loved getting to know all of your sweet pets, and we can’t wait to introduce them to you again throughout 2027! 🐾💙

Thank you to the Foothills Antique Power Association for their recent $2,000 donation to Carolina Caring's Charity Care program! For the past 22 years, this dedicated community partner has helped make compassionate care possible for local patients and families, contributing an incredible $100,000 in support of our mission. We are deeply grateful for their longstanding commitment to ensuring that no one is denied care based on their ability to pay.

🐾 October’s Pet of the Month! 🐾

Meet Chula, a sweet rescue kitty with a big personality and a serious case of the zoomies! Rescued from a shelter, Chula quickly became her human’s sidekick for life, even traveling from dorm to dorm during college. These days, you can find her rolling around on the carpet, racing through the house, or searching for her next opportunity to sneak some human food.

Chula is a beloved little love bug who brings endless laughter, companionship, and love to her family. ❤️

Carolina Caring is proud to be one of only nine nonprofit hospice providers in North Carolina partnering with Pet Peace of Mind – a program that helps keep patients and their beloved pets together at the end of life.

Your support of Pet Peace of Mind helps cover veterinary care, food, grooming, boarding, and basic in-home pet care for patients who can no longer physically or financially care for their pets.
