Teacher Week wrapped up today with CPR and First Aid Training led by Kaitlin and Kayla from Boston CPR Partners! We are so excited to welcome our ELC families to Student Orientation next week! We cannot wait to see you all! Shabbat Shalom!

This afternoon’s ELC playdate was lots of fun! It was nice to see so many familiar faces, reconnect with old friends, and welcome new families into our ELC community.

Today, the Temple hosted a Back to School Community Day of Learning sponsored by the CJP. The keynote speaker was Dr. Emily Aronoff who discussed music, regulation, and repair for the new school year. The ELC Teachers along with teachers from other local Jewish preschools had the opportunity to participate in a variety of professional development workshops. A fun day was had by all!

The ELC teachers have been busy this week preparing our classrooms with so much love and care! Here’s a sneak peek into the Me2, Moonbeam, Comet, and Allstar classrooms. We’re filling each space with cozy touches and special details to make our children feel welcome.

The ELC teachers and staff kicked off the new school year with a special welcome back breakfast and lunch during today’s orientation. We are feeling energized, inspired, and excited to make this year one to remember! Thank you Gaby and Rebecca for a wonderful first day!

Just like that, the last day of our Summer Program is tomorrow! We can hardly believe how quickly the summer has flown by! What an amazing summer it has been-filled with new friendships, big smiles, hands-on learning, and so many fun memories. From water play to sensory activities, the children have had so many opportunities to learn and grow together. Thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us this summer!

We’ve had a very busy start to the final week of our Summer Program! We’re continuing to enjoy all the activities and special moments that make summer so magical and fun. This afternoon, we celebrated our August summer staff birthdays!Happy birthday to our wonderful Director, Gaby, who celebrates today (8/11), and to our Cubs/Moonbeam teacher, Marcy, who celebrated on 8/4!

The highlight of this week’s Summer Program was turning our playground into the ELC Farm! The children had the best time using their imaginations as they played in an adorable cardboard barn, took pony rides, drove a tractor, and lovingly cared for our stuffed farm animals in a petting zoo. It has been a week full of barn yard fun!

Rain outside, smiles inside! Our Summer Program friends had a cozy indoor day of creative movement, messy sensory play, lots of laughter, and tons of fun!
