Discover the magic of Sgraffito on Thursday, August 6 @ the VAC! Led by Liz Fox, this beginner-friendly workshop teaches you the ancient Italian technique of “scratching” through a vibrant layer of colored clay slip to reveal your own unique designs beneath. Students will get a chance to create a simple design and transfer it to a clay platter. Then, they’ll carve their very own ceramic masterpiece. All supplies will be provided; all skill levels welcome!

Registered adults are welcome to bring one child (14-17) at no additional cost! Space is limited, and registration closes on July 30. Learn more or register now at coastarts.org/events/carve-into-clay-with-sgraffito
