Walk in honor, in memory, or for hope - Form a team, walk solo, volunteer Born from the shared vision of local friends and breast cancer survivors Jeanette Campagna and Sonia Graham, the CoastBusters Walk for Breast Cancer was created to inspire hope an

d give back to the communities that supported them through their healing journeys. Now an annual tradition, the CoastBusters Walk is a 3-mile fundraising event that brings people together to walk in solidarity—rain or shine—at two coastal Oregon locations:

Newport – Last Saturday in September at Newport High School Track

Florence – First Saturday in October at Siuslaw Middle School Track

Proceeds from each walk remain local, supporting individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment by covering non-medical expenses that insurance doesn’t—like gas, groceries, childcare, and more. Funds are administered by trusted partners:

Newport Walk – Pacific Communities Health District Foundation Women’s Cancer Fund and Pink Lemonade Project’s CoastBusters Cares initiative

Florence Walk – Oregon Cancer Foundation

Together, we walk to lift burdens, offer hope, and stand with every person facing breast cancer in our coastal communities. 💗
