Querida comunidad.
Con profunda tristeza, condenamos el ataque ra***ta que ocurrió recientemente contra una familia de vendedores de frutas en nuestra comunidad.
Nos solidarizamos con esta familia y queremos que sepan que no están solos. Como organización y como miembros de esta comunidad, estamos aquí para ofrecer nuestro apoyo durante estos momentos tan difíciles.
Lamentablemente, este tipo de incidentes ocurren con más frecuencia de lo que deberían y, en muchos casos, pasan desapercibidos o quedan sin castigo, ya sea por el miedo que tienen las personas a denunciarlos o por otras barreras fuera de su control. En estos tiempos, en los que muchas familias inmigrantes enfrentan dificultades, incertidumbre y, en muchos casos, ataques directos, debemos ser más conscientes del sufrimiento de quienes trabajan cada día para ganarse la vida, cuidar de sus familias y mantener viva la esperanza de un futuro mejor.
No podemos permitir que el odio, el racismo y la división definan nuestras comunidades. Debemos responder con solidaridad, respeto y compasión.
Seguiremos alzando la voz, luchando y abogando para que situaciones como esta no pasen desapercibidas y para que quienes las sufren sepan que cuentan con el apoyo de una comunidad que se cuida mutuamente con cariño.
Nosotros, inmigrantes somos una parte integral de nuestras comunidades. Trabajamos, contribuimos, cuidamos de nuestras familias y construimos un futuro mejor para todos, cada día.
Agradecemos a todas las personas que han levantado su voz para condenar este ataque y para ofrecer apoyo a esta humilde familia. Hoy más que nunca, hacemos un llamado a la compasión, la empatía y la unidad, para que juntos podamos sanar y construir un lugar donde todas las personas sean tratadas con dignidad y respeto.

With profound sadness, we condemn the racist attack that recently occurred against a fruit vendor family in our community.
We stand in solidarity with this family and want them to know they are not alone. As an organization and as members of this community, we are here to offer our support during these very difficult times.
Unfortunately, these types of incidents occur more often than they should and, in many cases, go unnoticed and unpunished, whether due to fear that people have of reporting them or other barriers beyond their control. In these times, when many immigrant families face hardship, uncertainty, and in many cases direct attacks, we must be more aware of the suffering of those who work every day to earn a living, care for their families, and keep alive the hope of a better future.
We cannot allow hate, racism, and division to define our communities. We must respond with solidarity, respect, and compassion.
We will continue to raise our voices, fight, and advocate so that situations like this do not go unnoticed, and so that those who suffer them know they have the support of a community that cares for one another with kindness.
We immigrants are an integral part of our communities. We work, contribute, care for our families, and build a better future for everyone, every day.
We thank everyone who has spoken out to condemn this attack and to offer support to this humble family. More than ever, we call for compassion, empathy, and unity, so that together we can heal and build a place where all people are treated with dignity and respect.
