Before you start planning next week’s meals, make sure to mark your calendars to raise some dough for the Newburyport Pioneer League. Inclusive of both Dine-in or Take-Out, Pomodori Newburyport will donate 15% of the night’s total sales to support our league. Simply mention the fundraiser or show our flyer before paying your bill.

NPL’s Limited Edition custom team store is now live! All orders for the custom team store are due by April 24 so don’t wait!

Items deliver in bulk and will be distributed by the league at the Pioneer League. Orders typically take 4-5 weeks. Get the link on the NPL website!

EVALUATIONS TODAY!

Participation is mandatory to ensure we can generate the fairest teams. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and warm up. 3:00–7:30 PM at The Sports Factory at 6 Old Elm Street, Salisbury, MA.

•3:00-3:45pm: 10U Softball (Grade 4/5)
•3:45-4:30pm: 12U Softball (Grade 6/7)
•4:30-5:30pm: Minors Baseball (Grade 2)
•5:30-6:30pm: Majors 70 Baseball (Grade 5/6)
•6:30-7:30pm: Majors 60 Baseball (Grade 3/4)

No evaluations required for:
•T-Ball & Rookie Baseball
•8U & 14U Softball
•Babe Ruth

The Newburyport Pioneer League is excited to announce the launch of our Mentorship Scholarship! This year, we will be awarding a scholarship ($650) to two boys and two girls who dedicate their time to mentoring a current Pioneer League team.

This program offers a unique opportunity for high school students to develop their leadership skills while making a positive impact on younger athletes.

Deadline to apply: March 29, 2026

We’re putting together our final roster of volunteer coaches, and we’d love to have a few more community members join us. If you’ve been considering getting involved, now’s a great time to step in!

A huge thank you to everyone who has already volunteered — your time and support make a meaningful difference for our youth players and help keep the Newburyport Pioneer League running strong. 🙌

Please note: Signing up does not guarantee a coaching placement. Some divisions already have an abundance of coaches, while others could still use more help. We truly appreciate every person willing to step up and support the kids!
