Along with Port Parks Alliance on Saturday at 9am, Clean Sweep is a day dedicated to getting out into your local park to help clean up and prepare for spring.

Meeting points in Atkinson Park, Cashman Park, Bartlet Mall and Perkins Park beginning at 9am. You can join others here in cleaning up sticks and leaves or doing a bit of early weeding. Rakes and leaf bags will be provided.

We also encourage people to spend time in smaller parks around the city during Clean Sweep making piles of sticks, bagging leaves and tidying up any litter. Please put litter into waste bins. Leaf bags can be left in the parks and the Parks staff will pick them up. You can pick up leaf bags at the meeting points between 9am and noon to take to smaller parks.
