Marc’s Friends Inc. is in need of some hands-on help as we prepare for the summer months.

We are working hard to get our building cleaned, decluttered, organized, and ready for the children and families we serve. We also need help going through and organizing our storage unit.

If you can dedicate at least a 2-hour block of time this week, it would truly mean a lot to us.

Volunteer Times Available:

• Monday … 12 PM to 3 PM
• Tuesday … 12 PM to 3 PM
• Wednesday … 12 PM to 3 PM

We are looking for people who are ready to really jump in and help hands-on.

** Please note … although we are a youth center, during these volunteer hours we ask that you please come without children. There will be cleaning supplies, storage items, and things spread throughout the building, and there will not be activities available for kids during this time. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Marc's Friends is organizing a summer program and will open registration to the public for any spots not claimed by returning students. The program will offer a limited number of daily slots, as well as designated drop-in days for other children. We are currently working on permits, programming , staffing, and all the fine details that ensures successful summer programming. Details will be shared soon, so please stay tuned for the announcement.🗣️🗣️

Today was a “forget the schedule” kind of day… 🍔🌭

The kids are over school, over program, over routines 😂 so we grilled burgers and hotdogs, made baked beans and pasta salad, and just chilled out. Simple day… good vibes… good food… good people. ❤️

For over 5 years, Marc’s Friends Inc. has continued showing up for our community through youth programming, outreach, food support, community events, and services for families throughout Newburgh and surrounding areas.

As our programs continue to grow… so does the need. One of the biggest things holding us back right now is transportation. A reliable van would help us pick up donations, transport youth and families, expand outreach services, and continue making an impact where it’s needed most.

We are excited to share that Marc’s Friends Inc. will be actively participating in the 2026 Hudson Valley Gives fundraiser campaign. We look forward to coming together with our community, supporters, and local partners to continue building stronger opportunities for our youth and families.

Huge thank you to the team at The Home Depot in Newburgh for going above and beyond to help make SOS Saturdays possible for our community. Special thank you to Tony for helping supply us with this brand new grill for the kids and families we serve. Support like this truly makes a difference.

We always say it takes a village… and we appreciate everyone who pours back into the community… from large businesses to everyday people just wanting to help.

And of course… let’s not forget Dyanne… because everybody loves selfies 😄
