ADOPT ME!!! UPDATE 5/10/26 Amora has been in foster care for several weeks, doing great but the foster mom discovered she is very allergic! From her Foster Mom: “Amora has turned into a real lap cat, and that’s how I learned that my cat allergies were becoming a problem. Amora is very sweet and craves affection. She is mostly a kibble cat, dedicated to the litter box. She would do well in a a home with someone wanting a warm fuzzy companion. We know she has lived well with dogs and teens from her past home. “

LOST CAT !
TTMAC, this cat was adopted by Sue young whose business is Designs by Sue in Liberty Street between Broadway and Anne street. Last night he managed to get out of the window from the second floor and he’s lost. Hopefully he is not injured from that drip. Please just be on the look out for him or if anyone calls you about him. His got a chip, he’s neutered and has recently had surgery on his ear. If you see him please message me so I can try to get him.
Thank you. Also his name is Waldo

HELP! From :
I have an emergency and one cat needs to be saved. I live on Dubois St Newburgh. A woman in my apartment building deserted her home and owes lots of unpaid rent. The landlord and I went into the apartment at the beginning of the week. There were 4 cats and 2 kittens living in absolute filth. They didnt have food or water and we don’t know the date when she left. I have been taking care of them giving them food water and a clean fuzzy blanket. I can’t take them because I have already adopted 3 cats in my apartment. I have found homes with caring people for all but one. It is hiding in a hole in the wall. It’s friendly and let me pet it but very scared. I have tried the ASPCAs all around and they are at maximum capacity. I have to have this beautiful cat out of the apartment by Sunday. The landlord said he will put it on the streets. It’s a lovely indoor kitty and wouldn’t survive.
If you have it in your heart to take in this beautiful cat please contact us or directly to , who has access to the abandoned apartment.

Meet Mona Lisa! This sweet girl is a true purrbaby.
She’s super lovey and sweet and not shy. She was taken in by our ⭐️ volunteer from a neighbor. , “The neighbor’s kids were pretty rough with her and they weren’t feeding her or letting her in the house.”
Mona Lisa is inside now, safe and sound. She has been taken to the vet and has a clean bill of health. She’s estimated at 6-7 months old, so still a kitten. She will be spayed! Dedicated litter box user. Gets along with dogs.
!! If you would like to consider adopting her, please fill out an adoption application on our website (link in our profile) and we can make arrangements for you to meet her. We think she would be a great addition to any family.

10 Days Old!!! Queenie AKA PREGO showed up on Bayview Terrace in in one of our ⭐️ volunteers front yard a couple days ago, very friendly, very pregnant and crying for help. Luckily mama was able to come inside in a secure safe room to deliver her 3 kittens. We think she was dumped as happens too often in the Heights . The kittens will need a wellness check, test$ and vaccine$. We are asking for donations that will help with expenses and a foster in a few weeks to socialize the kittens for adoption. It takes a village.
