Thank you to Senator Cory Booker for honoring our brother Jack Fanous by flying an American flag over the Capitol Building in his honor.

Our earliest success as an organization was serving in Newark City Hall while the Senator was the city's mayor, helping thousands of local veterans find employment and housing assistance. Jack led our organization from there to where we are now, helping veterans and all people in need in the region and country through our groundbreaking center and online platform. Jack's impact on the lives of tens of thousands of families in need cannot be overstated, and we appreciate the Senator for taking it upon himself to recognize Jack's amazing work by honoring him in this unique and powerful way.

We wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas with scenes from Christmas villages, including those from the home of our late CEO from years past. Since he was a boy, Jack would recreate these villages in his house every December, adding his own flair to them each year along the way.

To him, they weren’t just decorations. They were about warmth, fun, and bringing people together. That spirit lives on with us as we move into the new year, and we hope it does with you all, too.

Wishing you all peace and love this Christmas, and thank you all for being part of Jack's community.

The outpouring of love and condolences that we have received today has been nothing short of amazing. Jack deserved this kind of love, and we're so happy and proud that he is getting it.

For those interested in paying their respects, services will be held tomorrow evening and Friday morning. Thank you all!

It is with the absolute heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our leader, our visionary, and our best friend, Jack Fanous.

He was a titan in every way, dedicating his life not only to supporting people in need but also to everyone and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was also, as he would describe it, allergic to outdated ways of thinking and doing things incorrectly, which is why he was so dedicated to finding innovative ways to solve problems, whether at work or at home. He was a true force of nature, and we will literally be looking up to him every single day and working to preserve his legacy forever.

Rest in peace, brother. We love you!

We are so proud of our terrific partners at Prudential for hosting a tremendous session at their Newark Headquarters alongside KPMG and Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). Together, they assembled 250 care packages for veterans in need and raised vital awareness around military and veteran su***de, a tragedy affecting thousands of families each year.💙🇺🇸

✅ Thank You for an Incredible Housing & Training Session ✅

Yesterday's Veteran Dream Project housing seminar with OceanFirst Bank was a tremendous success, empowering veterans with the tools to make smart, confident decisions about housing, finances, and their future.

A special thank you to Thomas Vogel of OceanFirst for leading a practical and insightful conversation on evaluating homeownership opportunities, financial planning, and finding the right community after military service.

We’re also grateful to William Huang of Prudential for joining the session and sharing Prudential’s deep commitment to helping veterans thrive long after their service ends, a strong message that resonated with our audience.

This event was part of our ongoing Veteran Dream Project, made possible with the generous support of Prudential and the EY Foundation, who continue to stand behind our mission to educate and empower those who served.

Together, we're helping veterans build strong foundations for the next chapter of their lives. 🏠💼🇺🇸
