We want to send a heartfelt thank you to Sydney Winter for her generous donation of 100 preemie and newborn-sized clothing items for babies at University Hospital! Sydney is a Girl Scout Cadette working toward her Silver Award. As part of her Girl Scouts service project, Sydney organized this incredible effort, called "Back2Baby," making a meaningful difference for our smallest patients and their families. Inspired by her mother, Jennifer Winter, APN, who serves in University Hospital's ACC, Sydney's kindness is a wonderful example of how compassion can make a lasting impact. Congratulations to the graduates of the West Side High School Workforce Development Program! Yesterday, we celebrated an incredible group of students whose hard work, growth, and dedication inspired us all. Made possible through the University Hospital Foundation and the generous support of MCJ Amelior Foundation and PSEG Foundation, this program provided students with mentorship, hands-on experience, and opportunities for the future.

As Ty-Kiel Roberts, a junior in the program shared, “we are capable of more than we thought.” We are so proud of these students and look forward to all they will accomplish next.
