This National Latino AIDS Awareness Day, Iris House is taking HIV testing and prevention directly into the community.

On October 15, Iris House is partnering with the Latino Commission on AIDS for a free HIV testing event in the Bronx in recognition of National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD).

Knowing your status is an important part of taking charge of your health. Stop by, meet our team, learn more about HIV prevention and resources, and get tested for free.

On September 19th, Build Up staff presented at the United States Conference on HIV/AIDS (USCHA)! Their presentation, “From Outreach To Outcomes,” explored the framework in which the Build Up program was developed. Sharing their service plan meant showing participants how BU practices Whole Person Care within our work. Check them out!

Rain or Shine, Iris House continues to spread the word about HIV prevention! Team Iris House proudly walked in the African-American Parade, connecting with community and sharing important information about HIV prevention, testing and care. Despite the rainy weather, spirits remained high, and everyone had a wonderful time celebrating culture, health and community.
