Spence-Chapin’s Host-to-Adopt Program is a unique adoption pathway for Colombian children ages 10–13 who are waiting for a permanent family.

This winter, from December 1–28, children will spend the holiday season with host families in the U.S., giving them the opportunity to experience the warmth of family life while building meaningful connections that lead to adoption.

For many of these children, hosting may be their last opportunity to find a forever family before they age out of the child welfare system. Could you give a child a home for the holidays, and a family for a lifetime?

Join our Host-to-Adopt Webinar on June 22 to learn more about this life-changing program and discover whether hosting could be the next step in your adoption journey.

Last week, we shared the story of Sheri, Andrew, Lila, and Sasha. It began with the adoption of their two daughters, and has continued with the family’s participation in all things Spence-Chapin—from Saturday mornings at Bagels & Blox to fun nights out at Mentorship events.

Every year, more families are welcomed into Spence-Chapin’s community and discover the joy and support of our “home away from home.” You can help us welcome more families by donating today at spence-chapin.org/spring. 🌸

When Sheri and Andrew adopted their first daughter, Lila, a piece of their lives fell into place. But soon after, they realized they wanted another child, and Lila hoped for a sibling.

Seven years after Lila came home, Spence-Chapin called with news and a question they never could have anticipated. Lila’s biological sister had just been born, and would they like to adopt her? They didn’t hesitate, and just like that, Sasha joined their family, and their dream of giving Lila a sibling came true.

Our tenacity and dedication to our families are fueled by the generosity of supporters like you. Every donation helps make stories like this possible. Help us bring more families together at spence-chapin.org/spring💗
