Some moments deserve to be carried forward.

At the recently concluded Standup for Women Society (SWS) 5th International Conference & Summit in Abuja, our Founder and Executive Director, Anie Akpe, was honoured in recognition of her work in running and advancing African Women In Tech (AWIT).

The award was received on her behalf by Oluchi Chizaram Julius.

We see this recognition as a reflection of something bigger: the power of women building communities, opening doors and creating pathways for others to lead.

We’re grateful to SWS for the recognition and for creating a space where women from different sectors and backgrounds can connect, learn and shape what comes next.

The work continues. And we’re building it together.
