When disasters strike, the trauma people experience is so often minimized in the face of immediate and practical needs. We’re finding ways to bridge that gap—from West Texas to the Democratic Republic of Congo—and bring long-term recovery, hope and healing to the people who need it most.

📷 In the Democratic Republic of Congo, we partnered with the Anglican Diocese of Bukavu in response to heavy flooding in 2024 and the displacement of people due to ongoing violence and conflict. Pastoral care included local football (soccer) matches organized by church partners as a therapeutic outlet.
