We’re excited for our 3rd workshop in our 8-week PTSD/Trauma Support Group. 💜

This week: Fight, Flight, Freeze & Fawn — trauma responses often seen in cases of DV.

These are the symptoms of trauma: anger, hypervigilance, shutting down, people-pleasing, fear, avoidance, and survival mode.

Abuse can become a system of controllers, pressing the buttons and keeping us stuck in reaction. We’ll teach you how to recognize the signs, understand the symptoms, and uncover the tools that become your remedy.

🔑 Identifying the symptoms is the first step toward unlocking your healing.

It is truly an honor to be recognized by the community that we aim to protect and serve.💜

To be recognized for doing this important work and helping to save lives is an honor that I do not take lightly. This work reminds me of the power of community, connection, and showing up for one another.

Our time with our SYEP participants has come to an end, but we hope the seeds we’ve sown will continue to grow for a lifetime. 🌱

We intentionally poured into each individual, creating a space for growth, confidence, and empowerment. We’re proud to send well-informed, empowered young people back into our communities, ready to make an impact.
