JUNTA was proud to show up and celebrate at the 2026 Puerto Rican Parade Puerto Ricans United, Inc. alongside so many families, organizations, leaders, and community members who continue to keep our culture alive and thriving.

From the flags waving to the music, dancing, laughter, and generations celebrating side by side — this is what community looks like. 🇵🇷✨

For JUNTA, celebrating our culture is about more than one day. It’s about creating spaces where our stories are honored, our families feel seen, and the next generation can be proud of exactly where they come from.

Gracias to everyone who celebrated with us, stopped to say hello, marched, danced, and showed your Puerto Rican pride. ❤️

Big Turtle Village sleep away Camp! 🌿

We’re offering a FREE 5-day, 4-night camping adventure for children ages 8–12 at Devil’s Hopyard State Park from July 13–17, 2026.

This unforgettable experience is completely electronics-free, giving kids the chance to explore nature, build friendships, learn new skills, and create lifelong memories.

It takes a village to bring Fair Haven Day to life ❤️

Huge shoutout to our incredible committee—every single person who showed up, did their part, and made this event happen. YOU are the reason this festival continues to grow and thrive 🙌

Special thanks to our Project Manager, Kiana Cintron 👏— Youth Leader at Junta for Progressive Action & full-time college student. This is her 3rd year running the festival and part of the committee since its revival. She received an official city citation for her hard work and service, and was honored with the Fair Haven Day Award at the Fair Haven Fallout wrestling show 🏆

Shoutout to Ivette Oliveras from Mary Wade Home 💐 for passing on the annual parade last year and for her many years of dedication and service to the Fair Haven community—we appreciate you!

And thank you to our amazing MCs, Daisy and Cece 🎤 for bringing the energy and keeping the festival going strong all day!

Fair Haven Day was about more than just the parade 🧡

A huge thank you to all of our vendors and resource tables who showed up, shared valuable information, and connected with residents throughout the day. Your presence made the event not only vibrant, but meaningful and impactful for so many families.

We’re also grateful to everyone who stopped by, supported local businesses, and took the time to learn about the resources available in our community. This is what collective care and community building look like.
