This page is for the sharing of information that may be of interest to the greater YDS community and our friends around the country and world. Yale Divinity School is a graduate professional school of Yale University committed to: "Faith and Intellect: Preparing Leaders for Church and World." Students represent several dozen denominations and faith groups. Instruction is provided in the history, d

octrines, and polity of all the major church bodies. YDS offers programs of study leading to the degrees of Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.), and Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M.). Programs for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) are offered by the Department of Religious Studies in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Several YDS faculty hold joint appointments in the Department of Religious Studies, others participate in the doctoral program, and some Religious Studies faculty offer courses at YDS.

Yale Consort is a professional vocal ensemble conducted by Professor James O’Donnell and sponsored by the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. The group presents choral services in various New Haven churches and chapels on most Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. during the Yale school year. All Yale Consort services are free and open to the public.
