From Grace to Florida! 🎓

In true Grace fashion, our church family came together to celebrate Braelyn as she heads off to college in Florida!

We are sooooo proud of her and of all of our teens who are graduating and stepping into a new chapter this year. This is only the beginning, and we know the Lord has so much more in store for each of you!

And this is what church is about. As you grow, we’re here to cheer you on. Through every season, every milestone, and every new adventure, your Grace family is behind you.

Braelyn, we’re praying for you as you begin this next chapter. Go make Christ known!

If you’re looking for a church family that will walk with you through every season, come join us this Sunday!

WNBA Most Improved Player Veronica Burton knows what it means to face setbacks. Early in her career, she was picked up by a team and then dropped soon after. People began questioning whether her career was over.

But Veronica chose a different response: patience and trust in the Lord.

She worked hard, but she also recognized something important: she couldn’t control everything happening around her. What she could control was her relationship with God.

Her mornings became filled with worship, Scripture, prayer, and proclaiming God’s goodness. And when God blessed her, she gave Him the glory.

Like Tim Keller and, ultimately, Jesus, Veronica gives us an example of how to respond to difficulty… not with despair, but with faithful patience.

If you’re going through a difficult season, take hold of what you can control: your relationship with God. Make your requests known to Him and let His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Keep trusting. Keep waiting. Keep growing. God is not finished.

And just like that… we wrapped up another summer of Glow Lab!

We couldn’t have ended things on a better note. Our final Glow Lab was full of fun, laughter, community, and memories we’ll be carrying with us until next summer!

A huge THANK YOU to all of the parents who trusted us with your children and brought them week after week.

Thank you to our incredible young adults, high schoolers, and middle schoolers who volunteered their time to play, serve, mentor, lead, and pour into the younger kids.

And thank you to our amazing staff for helping with the food, lessons, activities, setup, and everything in between. It truly takes a village, and we’re so grateful for everyone who made Glow Lab special.

Most importantly, we’re thankful for the opportunity to love, serve, and point these kids toward Christ. 🙏

We’ll see you next summer, Glow Lab! 🌟

What will you do when you’re at the end of your days here? Will you grow in patience and peace as you await your going to your LORD?

Assistant Pastor Stuart reflects on his spiritual mentor, Tim Keller, whose family watched him recite the Lord’s Prayer and church creeds during his final days battling cancer.

Some might say he was simply seeking comfort. But his family saw something deeper: Tim was reflecting the Lord he had spent his life following.

Just as Jesus, in His suffering, turned to Scripture, prayed for His persecutors, and pointed others toward God, Tim was doing the same. He was reflecting on his life, Christ’s place in it, and where he was going, heaven.

And in those moments, he showed his children and family exactly who he served.

What you reach for in moments of pain can reveal who you truly serve. We pray you live a life reaching for Christ, so you can live and eternity being held by Him!

“If the devil can’t make you bad, he’ll make you busy.” — Corrie ten Boom

Don’t confuse movement with maturity.

We can spend our lives chasing productivity, advancement, and accomplishment while never actually moving toward Christ. Movement for the sake of movement isn’t progress.

True movement is found in Christ. True stability is found in Christ. Because no matter how much we accomplish, if Christ isn’t the destination, we’re ultimately going nowhere.

Don’t just stay busy. Stay rooted. Stay focused. Stay in Christ.

There’s something powerful about gathering together to worship.

At Grace Community Church, we believe faith was never meant to be lived alone. We gather to worship God, pray together, encourage one another, and grow in our relationship with Christ.

Join us August 30th at 11 AM at Saxe Middle School as we come together for more worship, prayer, and community.

Whether you’ve been walking with Christ for years or you’re simply searching for something more, there’s a place for you here.

Come worship with us. We’d love to see you there!
