Dylan Quick Foundation Dylan Quick,19, passed away January 23, 2019, after a 4+ year battle with Ewing's Sarcoma--his fight lives on! "WE GOT THIS!"

Today - WE - Fight

Dylan, an otherwise healthly 14-year old high school kid, was experiencing shortness of breath and chest pains. After a visit to his local doctor, he was immediately sent to a Children's hospital for emergency surgery to remove a large mass from his lung...the mass was the source of cancerous spots on his lungs. Dylan was ultimately diagnosed with 'Ewing's Sarcoma' (extremely r

are form of childhood cancer accounting for only 1% of childhood cancers) and will begin a lengthy chemotherapy regime shortly. Dylan's parents are both hard-working people in the medical field and public service and will continue to miss time at work while Dylan goes through his treatments. Your gracious donations will greatly assist with non-covered medical costs and co-pays, transportation to and from bi-weekly chemotherapy treatment appointments, lodging, and incidentals. The toy drive was a big success!
Thank you to all the businesses that hosted a toy box, thank you to all that purchased toys. A big thank you to copy and print warehouse for housing the toys.

Me and all my elves enjoyed dropping off the toys today and spreading some Christmas cheer.

We are grateful to Governor Josh Stein of North Carolina for officially proclaiming September as in the state.

This recognition is more than symbolic—it shines a spotlight on the urgent needs of children battling cancer and their families, while affirming that childhood cancer must remain a national priority.

Every year, thousands of children are diagnosed, yet childhood cancer research remains vastly underfunded. Proclamations like this bring awareness to the realities families face and remind us of the critical need for increased research, resources, and support.

Big news in the fight against : U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and The White House have announced it will double funding for the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative at the National Cancer Institute - from $50M to $100M.

This investment will harness AI and innovation to speed progress in prevention, diagnosis, and treatments, bringing hope to kids, teens, and families facing cancer.
