The Haunted Trail of Moores Swamp Road We are a haunted hay ride in Pamlico County whose proceeds benefit Horses of Pamlico, a local rescue.

Please share our event. We need help getting the word out. Thank You! This is a free event for all. We are looking for a few more vendors to pop up a tent and sell your crafts. We have a spot for antique hearse cop cars limos ambulances or rat rods. If it’s spooky even better! Have a nice rest! RIP

What makes Dracula timeless is not just the vampire myth itself, but the atmosphere surrounding the character. The novel introduced readers to a world filled with shadows, castles, fear, seduction, and the eternal struggle between darkness and humanity. Its influence can still be seen today in horror films, gothic fashion, music, and modern vampire stories.

Over the decades, countless actors portrayed Dracula, but few became as iconic as Bela Lugosi, whose haunting performance in Dracula helped define the vampire image we still recognize today.
