Laundry Love of New Bern

LL is a ministry that assists folks with laundry costs on the 2nd & 4th Tues @ Broad Street Laundry. Love, Dignity, Detergent. No strings attached!

Our Mission: To honor God by loving others in a way that is simple, quiet, practical, and deeply impactful. We provide this service on the Second and Fourth Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Broad Street Laundry, 905 Broad St New Bern, NC.

A big Thank You to the students of Pamlico Christian Academy who donated and decorated 94 laundry bags to our ministry. We have already begun distribution and the bags have been received with gratitude.

Praise be to God that we have completed our 32nd laundry event in downtown New Bern. By His Grace we have been able to serve 747 families and wash 6,530 loads of laundry. We have been blessed to witness our neighbors love one another and share in the Word of God.

This event marked the completion of the first phase of our ministry's mission to serve downtown New Bern. Stay posted for future event announcements and ways to stay involved with Laundry Love.

We wanted to give a special thank you to the ladies who attended the Refresh Women’s Conference at Two Rivers Church last month. They decorated 33 lovely laundry bags to be distributed to our Tuesday night attendees! The recipients are always so happy to receive these. Thanks TRC!

Last week our Laundry Love reached a new milestone: 3,079 loads have been completed since beginning in December. This could not have been done without the prayers, financial support, and service that so many of you have provided! A special shout out to the women’s ministry of Two Rivers Church who have been incredible partners in service this year.
Please be in prayer for the many community members who have shared their very personal requests with us. Several have recently suffered loss and are grieving. Others are praying desperately for healing in their families. And as always, continuous prayers that this ministry will continue to shine the light of Christ in our community.
LL meets again next Tuesday, 9/27 @ 5:30–Broad Street Laundromat.
