We would like to congratulate our team member, Sammy Houry, on 30 years of dedicated service to B & B Concrete Co., Inc.! Sammy (pictured on right) currently operates a cement tanker out of Corinth, MS, plant location; however, he has served in many roles at B & B over his career, including Mixer Truck Operator and Batch Person. Sammy always brings a positive attitude and smile to work. We are thankful that he is part of the B & B family! Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment, Sammy!

I am posting a quick guide for the 6 holidays that possibly create changes for solid waste collection in Union County. The City of New Albany operates on a totally different holiday schedule than Union County Solid Waste and that sometimes creates some confusion. Union County routes only change collection days at most six times per year outside of dangerous road conditions. Roadside collection begins at 7 am and continues into the afternoon hours on Monday, Tuesday,Thursday,Friday and the occasional Wednesday when a conflict arises from a holiday.
