The Little Tallahatchie Rubber Duck Regatta made waves as the largest yet!

A BIG thank you to all the duck sponsors and every single person who adopted a duck—whether one or a whole quacking crew! Your support helps keep our river vibrant and our mission afloat.

🌟 An extra-special shoutout to New Albany Rotary for making the regatta possible and for their ongoing commitment to Park Along the River’s Camp Creek Discovery Grounds.

Together, we’re building something beautiful—one duck at a time.

We’re sending a very special THANK YOU to all who helped 'Sweep the Tanglefoot Trail' last Saturday morning! In preparation for riders and hikers before our Tallahatchie RiverFest weekend in New Albany.

Spreading out along the trail from New Albany all the way to Ingomar, these dedicated friends of the Tanglefoot removed bags of trash and litter making this wonderful recreation resource cleaner and more attractive. It was great that local garden club members, students, teachers, and community volunteers came together to help launch this event in celebration of National Public Lands Day.

The timing could not have been better for our participation in this “fall cleaning” of our very own “public land”.

As we have been reminded through National Environmental Education Fund “whether we’re in our own parks or on our trails, a state park or country’s iconic public lands, stewardship is our shared responsibility.

These places help keep us grounded, inspire us, and shape our sense of community”. We look forward to making this an annual event and seeing others who are as passionate in helping to make out outdoor spaces inviting and full of life. Stay tuned!
