We Rescue, Rehabilitate, provide medical care, evaluate and search for the right adoptive homes for our cockers and other “doggie friends” to continue to be nurtured & loved after they leave us. We are a foster home based program, and do not have a central location. All of our adoptable dogs are in private foster homes in and around the Columbus OH area, being treated like any other member of a lo

ving family prior to being adopted. During times of crisis, until a foster home can be found, we may have the cockers in temporary short term boarding, prior to moving to a foster home.

As you can see, we are expecting a LOT of cockers (mostly females) coming into rescue soon. They are currently with our sister rescue in TN and all are reported to be very sweet and healthy. They are breeder releases and will be spayed & vaccinated by our veterinarian before they leave TN.

If you’re interested in meeting (& taking home) one of the 15 dogs that we will have in rescue, we are planning a mass meet & greet event in late June for those who are CURRENTLY APPROVED by or have adopted from our rescue . Please email [email protected] for more details

Kirby is an adorable 4-5 year old cocker/ cavalier mix who was a breeder release to a shelter. He is neutered and vaccinated. He LOVES the cavalier in his foster home and would love a forever home with another dog.

He does have a 5/6 heart murmur and is going for a cardiac consult at Medvet soon to see if the heart disease is treatable with medication or if surgery is necessary. We will update this post after that assessment. Keep him in your prayers.

Drew is in a foster home outside of Columbus Ohio and doing well exploring the house. She is very smart and catches on quickly. Very treat motivated. She tested lyme+ and is undergoing a course of antibiotics. Her bloodwork showed other anomalies so more labs are being run to see if it’s something more than the lyme disease.

She is 5 yo, spayed & vaccinated and very sweet - great with other dogs. Likely would do well with cats and children due to her sweet personality.

It’s a true family affair!! Coming into rescue in the near future are these beautiful 7 female cockers. These are coming from TN as part of a breeder release. Please check below each picture for details on what we know. All have been around 6-8 yo children. Cats are an unknown. WE WILL NEED LOCAL (Columbus Ohio) FOSTER HOMES or they can go directly into adoptive homes as they are being vetted in TN where they are currently in foster homes. Adoptive homes do not need to be local and we do require meet & greets in Gahanna Ohio and recommend resident dogs come along .

As for info on transport becomes available, we will post. We are recommending fences for all.

Please DO NOT post questions on facebook or through facebook messenger as we may not always see those right away. Please also be patient with us when submitting applications. We have one volunteer processing applications and it takes awhile to process them. Call vet offices and landlords and PLEASE respond to emails from us. If we need to reach out multiple times, it will cause a significant delay! Thanks
