We will be putting names with faces over the next few days of the individuals that are contributing to a fun, safe, positive learning and active environment for our 2026 Summer Program. Meet our 6-9 yr old girls Programmatic Youth Development Professional, Ms. Mentora Woods. "I enjoy spending time outdoors and singing in my free time. I love working with kids because their energy and curiosity inspire me every day, and it’s rewarding to help them learn and grow in a fun and supportive environment."🙂

We will be putting names with faces over the next few days of the individuals that are contributing to a fun, safe, positive learning and active environment for our 2026 Summer Program. Meet Caroline Carnell, our IMPACTO Intern and student at Myrtle Attendance Center. Caroline assists with our 6-9yr old girls and interact with all groups, day to day. “My favorite hobby is playing basketball and I've always enjoyed being around kids, and I wanted the opportunity to be with them while also gaining the experience that will make me a better future teacher.”🙂

Her hobbies are traveling and shopping. “My reason for working with children is, it isn’t just a job—it’s an opportunity to help shape the future, one child at a time.”🙂

As a team you must figure it out and that’s with anything that involves multiple people to complete a task or goal. We love how the short, tall and different arm length and leg people strategize to get the hoop moving along to get it back to it’s starting point. ’

Week 2 has concluded! To the parents, we thank you for the opportunity to pour into your children and provide them activities that they can look back and remember years from now. Attending a family atmosphere and environment where EVERYONE matters and is valued is essential in today’s world and we promote to continue giving our best. Thanks to Oxford and Northside Boys & Girls Club coming over and interacting with our Unit engaging in Basketball. L’s but we will return the favor before the summer is up.
