It’s Friday… but Sunday is comin’.

When Jesus was crucified, His followers didn’t see a bigger plan.
They saw violence.
They saw injustice.
They saw hope taken from them—publicly, brutally, and without warning.

They were afraid to speak.
Afraid to gather.
Afraid that everything they believed in had just been silenced.

They didn’t know Sunday was coming.

Moments like that aren’t just ancient history.

When a voice is taken suddenly…
when something happens in public that shakes people to their core…
when grief mixes with anger and confusion…

It can feel like we’re living in Friday again.

But here’s what the early Christians didn’t yet know:

Friday is not the end of the story.

Darkness doesn’t win.
Truth doesn’t die.
And hope is never buried for long.

Sunday is coming. Always.

Beautiful flower and imagery associated with it. I’m thankful the our government in Florida isn’t afraid to share things like this!

The passion flower is a beautiful native Florida vine that starts blooming in spring and attracts several species of butterfly. It gets its name from Spanish missionaries who saw the flower as symbolic of the passion narrative of Jesus.

🌾🚜 Team Moody’s second stop today was Wesley Wells Farm in St. Augustine — a proud second-generation, family-owned operation rooted in hard work and faith.

We had the pleasure of meeting Wesley and Amanda Wells, whose lives are dedicated not only to farming but to educating families about where their food comes from. From agrotourism and hands-on experiences to welcoming the community onto their land, they are building more than a farm — they’re building connection and understanding.

Family farms like this are the heart of Florida agriculture. They preserve tradition, strengthen local economies, and remind the next generation that food doesn’t start at the grocery store.

Grateful for the opportunity to spend time with this beautiful family and see firsthand the impact they’re making.

🎣🌿 Today Team Moody is in Welaka for the ribbon cutting of a new trail connecting the Welaka National Fish Hatchery to beautiful Beecher Springs.

This new trail expands public access, strengthens conservation efforts, and makes it easier for families, anglers, and visitors to experience Florida’s natural resources up close.

But we’re not just here for the ribbon cutting.

We’re connecting with local partners, listening to community members, and making sure federal resources are working the way they’re supposed to — because good stewardship includes both our environment and our taxpayer dollars.

Access matters. Conservation matters. And so does showing up.

Same service. Different zip code. 🚐

🚐 What Are Team Moody Mobile Office Hours?

Mobile Office Hours are simple: we bring the Senator’s office to you.

Instead of calling Washington or driving across the region, constituents can meet one-on-one with our team right in their own community. We help with:

• Navigating federal agencies
• Veterans’ benefits
• Social Security & Medicare issues
• Passports
• Immigration casework
• And cutting through red tape

No speeches. No politics. Just constituent service.

We travel county to county because access shouldn’t depend on your zip code.

Same service. Different zip code.

As my four-year term concludes on December 31, 2025, I will not be seeking reappointment to the Florida State Board of Education. I’m deeply grateful to Governor Ron DeSantis for the honor of serving Florida’s students, families, and educators in such a meaningful way.

It has been a privilege to help advance bold, student-centered education reforms under Governor DeSantis’ leadership. During my service, Florida made historic investments in teacher salaries, elevated parental rights and involvement, and achieved universal school choice. Our renewed emphasis on classical learning and rigorous academic standards reinforced the foundational principles of excellence, critical thinking, and civic understanding.

I’m very proud of our work to improve struggling schools through the Bureau of School Improvement and initiatives such as Schools of Hope. Every child is capable of learning but it’s our responsibility to ensure they have the tools, resources, and environment to succeed.

We also remained committed to supporting school board members and district leaders who stand on the front lines implementing strong state policy while addressing complex local challenges, often in the face of relentless opposition from entrenched liberal education cartels.

Thank you to each of the Commissioners, Board Members and dedicated leaders at the Department of Education for their knowledge, professionalism and friendship.

As I step away from the Board, I am honored to continue serving the people of Florida with the office of US Senator Ashley Moody.

A wonderful and meaningful opportunity!
