Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Wisconsin serves youth in Winnebago, Outagamie, Calumet, and Waupaca counties through community-based, site-based, and workplace mentoring programs.

We see every day what can happen when a caring adult shows up for a young person. We also know there are hundreds of children in our area waiting for someone to step up for them.

That’s why we’re so thrilled to be launching the “Step Up. Show Up.” campaign.

This new regional effort joins Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin, Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Wisconsin, CASA of Brown County, and CASA of the Fox Cities in a collaborative effort, with support from the J. J. Keller Foundation, Inc.. Our shared goal is to help more volunteers discover opportunities to mentor and advocate for youth across Northeast Wisconsin.

You don’t have to change every child’s life — but you can make a world of difference for one. All you have to do is step up today and show up tomorrow.

A night to remember! ✨

We’re still celebrating the incredible moments from our Dream Big Gala! Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special.

Here are a few more favorite moments from the night.

Our matches explored big possibilities, learned new skills and dreamed about the future!

The day kicked off with a visit to 4imprint, where matches designed their own hats and watched them get pressed while learning about the company and its post-high school job opportunities.

Next, they toured UW Oshkosh, heard from a student panel and enjoyed some time in the Student Hub playing arcade games and making encouraging magnets for children at the hospital. The day wrapped up at FVTC’s Spanbauer Campus, where they explored airplane simulators, hangars, woodworking and construction classrooms.

From college campuses to hands-on career experiences, our matches had the opportunity to explore new interests, discover possibilities and start thinking about what their futures could hold. Who knows where these experiences might lead!
