Our weeknight program at the Boys & Girls Brigade runs on volunteers, and some of the best nights happen when an adult shares a skill they genuinely enjoy.

Volunteers lead workshops and activities including woodworking, cooking, riflery, archery, and the climbing wall, and we're always open to new ideas.

You don't need teaching experience, just a talent you'd be happy to pass along and some time on a weeknight. All leaders complete a background check, and many find that volunteering becomes an ongoing part of their week rather than a one-time visit.

As we finish another incredible season at Camp Onaway, we're looking ahead to the campers who will arrive next summer ready to make memories, build friendships, and discover new strengths.

The Boys & Girls Brigade is more than something to do in the evening. Since 1900, we've given young people in grades 5-12 a place to build character, develop leadership skills, and form lasting friendships in a supportive community.

Many students follow a similar path here. They arrive looking for an activity, discover a new interest through a workshop or club, learn to work alongside their peers, and grow into the confidence that comes with taking on responsibility.

FINAL CALL TO REGISTER FOR PARENT NIGHT! 🎉

Join us for Parent Night on Thursday, August 27th from 6:00-8:30 PM for the opportunity to get a first-hand look at the activities that Brigade has to offer. You will be taken through a rotation of three different activities, have the chance to speak with our volunteers, and ask questions to our staff.

This event is free and children of all ages are welcome to attend with an adult. Please note that children under 10 years of age must be supervised at all times and may need extra assistance with activities.
