October 24 is World Polio Day and United Nations Day—a reminder that people working together can change children’s lives.

That spirit was on display Thursday, October 22, at Pints for Polio. Thank you to everyone who joined, gave, and helped spread the word. Your support reaches far beyond Neenah, helping protect children from a disease no child should face.

Rotary members, health workers, families, and global partners have helped bring polio close to eradication. But children still need protection until the job is done.

Keep the conversation going. Share why ending polio matters and invite someone to learn more.

Sometimes the best way to help starts with a simple question: “What would make your day a little easier?”

On the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, remember that hardship is often closer than we think. A coworker, a neighbor, or a family at school may be facing hard choices we never see.

Listen without judgment. Ask before assuming. Let people tell you what they need.

Here in Neenah, you can support that care by learning about local services, sharing a useful resource, or asking a trusted community group where help is needed.

A strong community is one where people feel safe asking for help—and know someone will listen. 💙

Everyone deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported.
Yesterday, the Rotary Club of Neenah welcomed Marianne Radley, Director of Community Partnerships with REACH Counseling, along with a few members of her team. She shared how Reach helps survivors of sexual violence find support and a path to healing.
Want to help? REACH needs volunteers for a variety of roles and provides training to help you get started.

This World Food Day, you can help put food within reach of kids right here in Neenah.

Neenah Rotary’s Feeding Minds & Bodies program helps students at Neenah Middle School get healthy, grab-and-go snacks during the school day. A small snack can help a child feel better and get back to learning.

You can be part of that care. Give $5, help with a food drive, or ask which snacks are needed most. Small gifts add up—and steady support helps keep food on hand.

Because every child deserves a school day with less hunger and more room to learn.

Clean hands. Healthy kids. A healthier Neenah. 💧🧼
On Global Handwashing Day, a simple act deserves a little extra care: washing your hands with soap helps protect your family, friends, and neighbors.
But that simple act takes a working sink, clean water, and soap—every day.
You can help. Ask a school, youth program, or community space you support: “Do you have what you need to keep hands clean?” A soap donation or help fixing a sink could make a real difference.
Service starts with noticing a need—and taking a step to meet it. 💙

Feeding Minds & Bodies, a Rotary Club of Neenah program, keeps healthy snacks on hand at Neenah Middle School for students who need them.

Some kids miss breakfast. Others have a late lunch or don’t have enough food at home. Snacks are available through the school office and counselors to help students focus in class and feel cared for.

Every girl deserves room to learn, ask questions, and imagine a future she chooses for herself. You can help by listening to her ideas, encouraging her interests, and supporting opportunities for girls in your community.
Ask a girl what she hopes to try next. Take her answer seriously, and help her find a way forward.
