Because of their support—and the generosity of every person who donated supplies, gave financially, sorted, packed, and volunteered—TRA was able to help families make sure their children were prepared and confident for the first day of school.

It truly takes a community to make this kind of impact. We are so grateful to everyone who helped us put backpacks on shoulders, supplies in students’ hands, and smiles on faces as a new school year began. ❤️

📚 We’ve extended our School Supply Drive—but time is still running out!

To give our community one more opportunity to help, we’ve extended our donation deadline. However, our August 8th delivery is just around the corner, and we have only a limited amount of time left to collect supplies for the children we serve.

Tennessee Resettlement Aid is preparing backpacks for 300 refugee and newcomer children, and we still need your help to ensure every child starts the school year with the supplies they need to succeed.

Every child deserves to walk into school feeling prepared, confident, and ready to belong. 🎒✏️

This year, Tennessee Resettlement Aid is working to equip 300 refugee and newcomer children across Middle Tennessee with backpacks and school supplies for the first day of school.

For many families rebuilding their lives after fleeing hardship, the cost of school supplies can be overwhelming. A simple backpack filled with the right tools can help a child feel included, supported, and ready to learn.

Your gift makes an immediate impact:

$50 provides one child with a new backpack and school supplies
$150 equips a family of three children
$200 equips a family of four children

Together, we can help children begin the school year with dignity, confidence, and hope.

Thank You for Making a Difference! 💙❤️

TRA’s Annual Diaper & Hygiene Drive was an incredible success because of the generosity of our community!

Together, we were able to provide essential diapers and hygiene supplies to 35 families and help meet the needs of 188 children. Every diaper donated, every hygiene item collected, and every volunteer hour given helped bring dignity, comfort, and hope to families in our community.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, shared our mission, and supported this effort. Your kindness reminds us that when a community comes together, lives are changed.
