Our speakers are Nick and Lana Nicholis who will be speaking how to monetize your hives!

We will also be having New Beekeeper Training at the Ellington Hives before the meeting! Beekeepers MUST provide their own gear.

It's World Bee Day!

Today we pay tribute to the amazing bees that fly through our gardens and woodlands to collect nectar so that we can enjoy and consume the honey they bring in as nectar!
So, when you are enjoying the toast, or English Muffin you had for breakfast today, tomorrow or whenever, remember that it took thousands of bees and countless miles to bring it back to the hive!

NABA will be at Nashville Zoo's Farm Day on Saturday, May 16th from 10:00 to 2:00!

This event is included with zoo admission. Join us and other vendors and learn about pollinators, beekeeping, native bird conservation, farm life, and more!

We will be having a new beekeeper practice session with Buzz at the Ellington Hives before our monthly meeting on Sunday April 12th.

Any participating beekeepers MUST have their own gear. There will not be any suits or veils available to borrow.

Have you ever wondered if drones are really as useless as they say? Why are honey bees mating habits so mysterious? What is a drone congregation area and how can I find one? What do drones exactly do?

Well you're in luck! A one-day Drone workshop is being held in Atlanta. It includes both classroom and hands-on experience involving drones.

Pretty cool opportunity for a well-rounded beekeeper!
