The Bowie County Republican Party will hold it's Precinct Conventions at 10am on March 28 at Eagle Hall at Texas A&M University Texarkana. Registration will open at 9am. County Convention will follow that at 1pm.

Last night we hosted Perla Munoz Hopkins, Perla For Texas Lieutenant Governor. Perla is motivated to correct some of the things that have happened behind the scenes in the TX Senate under Dan Patrick. These are things that have held up good bills from passing thru the Senate, and she wants to help get more RPT Legislative Priorities passed. We appreciate her coming to see us, and ask that you seriously consider voting for her. She pointed out that the money Dan Patrick allowed to go toward the film industry incentives could’ve gone toward maintaining state roads, which we know are in terrible shape—or even toward county road maintenance across the state, which we know are in pretty rough shape in most of Texas.

We've had the RPT state chair and vice chair to our meeting in the past year. They've both announced in the past few days that they are running for State Chair this year. Make your plans to get to New Boston High School on Feb 10 at 6pm and make sure your candidate is represented in the vote! Also, we will be having our own straw Poll on Thursday at our regular meeting.

Straw Poll February 2026 is coming. We've invited all the non-partisan candidates for the 11 races from state and county level to come to New Boston and speak for 3 minutes about their platform

Christin has served on multiple committees for the State Republican Executive Committee as Senate District 1 Committeewoman.
