As a animal shelter located in Napoleon, Ohio, we provide sanctuary and rehoming services for animals in need. We are a closed county, no kill facility, which means that we refuse to sacrifice the lives of innocent animals for convenience or profit. Our commitment to saving every precious life extends beyond our doors as we seek to spread education to our community about the importance of animal welfare. Bear is a handsome 3-year-old Pomeranian/Husky mix who is looking for a very special family to call his own. ❤️

Bear has already been through far too much in his short life. Unfortunately, he experienced abuse in his past, and because of this, he has some particular struggles that his future family will need to understand and work with.

🐱 **Bear is NOT a fan of cats.**
🐶 He may potentially get along with another dog, but this would depend on proper introductions and the individual personalities involved.
✂️ Bear is also very uncomfortable with restraint and nail trims due to his past experiences. He will need someone who is patient, understanding, and willing to work with him at his own pace.

But don't let those struggles overshadow the wonderful boy underneath! Outside of these challenges, Bear is a happy-go-lucky, playful boy who absolutely loves being outside and enjoying life. 🥰

Bear isn't looking for just any home—he's looking for **his person**. Someone who will understand that some things may take time, respect his boundaries, and help him learn that he is safe and loved.

We know Bear is worth the patience, understanding, and effort it will take to give him the life he deserves. We just hope you do, too!

Julius is an incredibly handsome 1-year-old boy who is searching for a family of his very own! This sweet guy is EXTREMELY friendly and is always happy to see just about anyone. He absolutely loves attention and would gladly soak up all the love you’re willing to give him! Julius was found all alone at the docks, and we can’t help but wonder how a wonderful boy like him ended up without a family. He deserves so much more than being alone—he deserves a warm, loving home where he can finally feel safe, wanted, and loved!

Jovie is a total playtime enthusiast! She has TONS of energy and would love a family who will keep her busy with playtime, exercise, and plenty of adventures. She would be the perfect companion for someone looking for a fun, active best friend!
