It is programs like this that make Henry County a great place to live, work, and raise a family!
🎉 Thank you, Henry County Community Foundation in Napoleon, Ohio
Voices of HOPE is incredibly grateful to receive $500 in grant funding from the Henry County Community Foundation to support our Voices of HOPE Calming Kits Community Project!
Our Calming Kits provide portable sensory and communication supports for individuals with disabilities who may experience sensory overload, anxiety, or difficulty with self-regulation during stressful situations.
The kits include tools designed to help:
• Reduce anxiety and sensory overload
• Support emotional regulation and focus
• Promote independence and confidence
• Help individuals remain engaged in community activities
• Increase awareness and understanding of sensory needs throughout Henry County
Calming Kits are being distributed throughout our community to law enforcement, first responders, local agencies and community partners, as well as being made available during HOPE Services community events.
This funding will help us continue putting practical tools directly into the places where they can make a difference—helping create a Henry County that is more accessible, understanding and inclusive for everyone.
Thank you to the Henry County Community Foundation for investing in our community and believing in the work of our Voices of HOPE self-advocates!
Our Voice, Our Strength!
