Can you believe that our 5K is THIS Saturday??
Just a couple of things to keep in mind.
⚠️There are community garage sales going on. Your safety is my priority! I have volunteers doing traffic control as well as police. But please be aware when you're running.
⚠️Registration will be located at the shelter by the pool. We did this last year and it worked out so well. There will be a line for those who need to register and a line for those who need to pick up their bag, bib & chip.
🍪🍊Our snack area will be located at the shelter behind the start/finish.
🌦Weather is looking iffy, so prepare to run in the rain!

You guys! Have you signed up for the 5K yet?? If not, you can still sign up! All proceeds will go back to the City of Napoleon Ohio Parks & Rec Department. This year we are focusing on upgrading the playground equipment there. If you have been to Oakwood, you know it's overdue for an upgrade. If you like to run or walk, you can sign up!
I am also still looking for sponsors for the race. Whether it's monetary or a prize. Please get with me if you're interested! Here's the link to sign up.

Guess what?? It's a new year which means I'll be working on 5K things!

This will be our 10th year and I want to make it an amazing race. If you are interested in being a sponsor or know of a business that would want to sponsor, please contact me. It could be monetary or prize donations.
Letters will be going out at the beginning of March.

Our donations from the church in the past 3 years that I have organized have been just over $26,000. That money goes right back to the Napoleon Parks & Rec Department.
This year the focus will be on Oakwood Park. There are MANY families that go there for cross country, baseball, softball, football or just to be with family and enjoy our city. I am one of those families and I see some things that need to be updated.
